The 16th annual Lundberg Institute Lecture focuses on artificial intelligence and how it is changing the way families seek answers and the way physicians care for children. But what will it mean for the relationship between them?

Pediatrician Alan Greene is a pioneer in digital health, having started his medical website in 1995. He explores opportunities and risks on both sides of the patient–physician alliance, including when kids and parents use AI on their own, and asks how these powerful tools might deepen our capacity for care, connection and being human—advancing his vision of patients, families and physicians as partners in care.
